Caregiver Coaching
Caregiver coaching empowers caregivers, most often parents, to actively participate and support the patient’s overall communication development. Caregiver coaching involves training caregivers on how to implement therapy strategies in everyday situations, fostering a consistent and supportive learning environment outside of formal therapy.
Habit Elimination
Habit elimination therapy is a behavioral intervention used to help individuals to stop undesirable habits, such as thumb sucking, nail biting, finger sucking, prolonged pacifier use, tongue thrusting. Any sucking habit that is chronic past 3 years of age has the potential of affecting a child or adult’s oral musculature, teeth and the shape of their palate.
